They’re still right though, a nightmare star episode does not equal a Celestia episode. A nightmare star would be another Luna episode, again, because she’s dealt with this before and it would involve her sister so Luna once again would be the focus. It also wouldn’t make sense for Celestia to be corrupted like Luna did because she’s not dealing with the same problems Luna did, at the most she might feel her long life is cuasing problems but that’s hardly a reason to turn evil. So yeah I agree that getting a nightmare star episode BEFORE an actual Celestia episode would be awful.

Even though evil-Celestia would be cool,
it would be terrible to get before a regular-Celestia episode.
Terrible and stupid.
It would still not be an episode about Celestia’s character either,
it’d be some spell or alt dimension thing,
unless they play it out as something like ‘Celestia is the big bad of the whole series and tricking everypony ALL ALONG!!111’,
which would mean the writers have jumped the shark and landed on Nightmare’s moon,
and would have absolutely ruined an actually kind loving ruler character for no good reason at all,
unless being super dark and edgy is the best reason of all.
 
Well guess what big guy, Celestia got an episode for once AAAAAND….it was pretty crap…
 
 
So yeah, I’d be better off with the evil celestia now…

Jawohl, Cel Advice and All Bottled Up are the names of the two-part season premiere. What that means concerning how the two-parter will be structured is not yet clear, but it is apparent it will be unique in some manner to the other two-part premieres and finales.
 
Although, I’m sort of reminded of how S01E01: Mare in the Moon and S01E02: Elements of Harmony were later renammed Friendship is Magic Parts 1 & 2. I’m not yet convinced this is the same scenario, though. <w<

I really like this idea.  
Would be even better than the ‘let’s follow the map’ quests,  
it would feel like a more natural progression from friendship lessons of earlier seasons.  
Still prefer we don’t see Nightmare Star at all in show, given how little there is of normal Celestia.

True. One idea in mind would be giving Cel six episodes centered around friendship lessons for each of the Bearers, that’d set up a conflict with Star in the finale either with the usual McMuffins or through the use of a conduit like The Box and Map or both. Giving her a more sufficient spotlight before the appearence of Star proper.
 
A concurrent idea would involve Moon reemerging in the Premier, either from her takeover timeline from S05E26 or as a remnant consciousness inside Luna like that guy from Yu-Gi-Oh, then dissipating without a trace, putting the Mane Cast in a false sense of security before it’s revealed in the Finale Moon had transferred herself to Cel’s consciousness.
 
Ooh! and the time Cel had spent with the Bearers in the aforementioned potential six episode arc allows Star to learn of the Bearers’ weaknesses. Presumably, Rainbow Power should be sufficient to stop Star, after the Bearers discover Star’s existence, undo their inevitable incapacitation, and perhaps get a pep-talk from somepony important: Luna, Cadance, Cel’s spirit locked away someplace or inside Star like Peach inside The Shadow Queen. :j
