They won’t be treated as evil outcasts, or perceive themselves as being treated as such, so long as you don’t give the word the power. The more people use the term so casually, the less meaningful it becomes, the less offensive it becomes.
Before you go any further, my best friend in real life is autistic, my sister is autistic, - I - am autistic.
None of us are offended by any of this; We understand it’s a joke and nothing more.

some Low-functioning autistic kids are known to scream or “screech” when they’re upset because they don’t know how to respond to situations or emotions.
It may be “making fun” of autistic behaviour, but it’s not really insulting disabled people, moreso just giving a frame of reference for the irregular behaviour.
Also protip, hollowfox: Don’t be offended by people making the comparison, and don’t be offended for autistic people, especially don’t try to discourage it by saying it’s “bad”, because by doing so you’re only giving it the meaning and power you don’t want it to have.
like “eeeeeeeee! eeeeeeee! are you offended yet? eeeeeeeeh!”

So you want people with autism to be treated as evil outcasts instead of accepting them as human beings?

I dunno, this is kinda funny
Something anyone made to make fun of rabid reactions to anything and associate with a disability.
Insulting disabilities isn’t cool.
