Sunset: d’aaw…
Rarity: they’re adorable together!!!
Probably, it’s maybe because I know/saw a lot of thing about that already (tales, stories and art, don’t worry).
I never put heavy clothes when I was taking a plane, on the other hand, Air France keeps a good temperature inside the plane, on a cheap plane however, it’s maybe cold now I think about it.
Anyway, it’s nice despite the apparent gravity of situation that some as me can perceive.
I usually dress in layers when flying, maybe that’s not a universal thing and maybe that’s just a me thing :P Though I rarely see people wearing t-shirts and cold clothes when flying but maybe that’s just based on where I’ve flown to, I don’t know.. Never really thought about it.
As for the eyes, I did intentionally try to do it in a very small subtle way as in my mind the image was meant to be a mundane image without extreme emphasis that they’re sleeping being played for comic affect. I was going for the type of look you’d see when a friend falls asleep on your arm when your travelling somewhere. I was more so going for realism then humour or exaggeration as I believe illustration wise there’s a difference between deep sleep and briefly dosing off - but proportion wise, judging by the animation rules and principles I believe they’re all in check here. I think you’re more so talking about preference rather then something being physically wrong. The implication you added, although it is very interesting that you saw it that way, I also think it is subjective and personal towards your outlook rather then it being a universal thing that is indisputable. I think different people will view it differently.
I imagined it as a town way up in the mountains that you can only get to by flying :)
Edited
Or maybe it’s some town way up in the mountains?
