Probably just one rendition of him in the fandom. I mean, I’m aware of one depiction of him where he has such an inflated ego that he thought himself to be the ultimate gift to every mare in Equestria.
 
I agree with you though, I don’t think Soarin is that kind of stallion. He strikes me more of the type who would choose to retire from the Bolts then look for a new job that lets him be able to return home on a frequent bases so he could be a proper father figure. Of course that’s just my opinion, especially since I’m not exactly sure if a Wonderbolt is the type of job that would let him do that rather easily.

lulz wut. thats not the Soarin we know…… and lets just say for arguments sake he was to ditch Dash after making her preggers…….being that he….and Dash are both high profile wonderbolts and the latter also being a equestrian hero, ditching Dash and their kid like that would immediately destroy his career and his life within the public eye.

Thank god they don’t live in Westeros otherwise the baby would be treated like absolute shit.
