The “opposites don’t work out in relationships” thing seems to be popping up more and more in these ship pics. I feel that the only time this is true is when both parties are unwilling to compromise and work out their differences. If both people in the relationship are exactly alike, it will stagnate and get boring. Having a partner with different interests and ideas helps you grow as a person and perhaps discover new interests you never knew you had.
 
tl;dr Opposites can work in relationships with just a little effort. Also, shipping is just fun, don’t overthink it.
