My guess for One Bad Apple? The Apple Family’s black sheep coming to Ponyville and taking refuge at the Apple Family farm. The episode will revolve around Applejack’s efforts to keep him a secret, and him slowly repenting his crimes. And then he gets found out. There is a chase scene, followed by a touching reunion, in which he gives up his evil ways forever, in front of the Ponyville Law Enforcement, followed by; “I’m still gonna have to go to jail, aren’t I.” “Eyup.” The moral of the story being that even the worst of us can be redeemed (well, without the elements of harmony); a leopard can change his spots.
