True that emo is a form of self expression, but it’s an inherently depressive one.

I think that’s what the artist intended.
It works like a miracle, but in my case it didn’t stick. Four weeks later I was back where I used to be. For most ponies, the result is long-term. The only reason it isn’t used as a first intervention is that you lose some recent memories, and they have to knock you out many times which is an invasive risk.
The only thing wrong with the image is it looks like you’re getting emo and depression confused. Depression isn’t a form of self-expression like the ‘before’ image. (Also it looks like AJ is irately pointing to the table, which suggests AB ‘feels better’ because she doesn’t want to go through electroshock so she’ll pretend to be not depressed.)
