You’d swear someone just swung through raving about Trump’s bigoted sexism. The extent of both sides’ arguments seem to be either virtue signaling or ‘victim’ blaming without any actual support. Kudos to Stotter and 57MD for actually exercising reasoning. But, why the fuck a shipping image on Derpibooru? This is clearly meant to be an unrealistic gag of a scenario with cartoon characters and more of you might realize that if you let those sticks out of your asses and learned to take a silly shipping image for what it is.
 
That said, I agree the coloring as well as the style are stunning. Pimpartist is really, really getting great at shading and the palette shows some improvement as well. Their style has really improved and become its own since they started; I’m loving it! The Soarindash, especially from pimpartist, is as adorable and fantastic as always, of course. It’d be nice if more people actually focused on the art. Now I’m tempted to get a copy of this new IDW comic.

yeah if both are drunk both are unable to make the decision meaning both are in the wrong somehow.

One problem with that perspective. What if they’re both drunk? I mean, you could make the argument that if the guy was sober, then he’s taking advantage of her, but if they’re both completely wasted, then neither party should be able to offer consent more than the other. But with that, you then run into the issue of the fact that the guy could simply down some alcohol himself, and that would absolve him of any consequences.

If one party has a clear advantage over the other in terms of capacity to give and revoke consent, it’s their responsibility to not take advantage of it. That is the moral reasoning behind every law against non-violent sex crimes.

I don’t blame Soarin’ for being nervous. Think about some of the crazy-ass things Dash has done while sober.

Idk, if i were to get drunk and kill a person i cant then say well.. i was drunk therefore i was out of my own control.. youd still have to take full responsibility no questions asked.
 
To me if you are an adult…. and you get yourself drunk (being having a gun to your head or in a situation out of your control to ingest alcohol) you are still responsible for how you act, what you do, and how you do it.
 
Unless a gun is pointed to your head, you NEVER have to drink a single drop of alcohol in your life, you never have to get drunk, and you are always able to make that choice.
 
put it this way.. if i got drunk and woke up in a bed full of gay men naked…. that would be on me… i wouldnt then go after them for “taking advantage on me” it would just be a lax in judgement and nothing more. Im a straight male btw.

I honestly cannot believe that we still have people in our society that believe taking advantage of a drunk person is something to be proud of and not a crime.
