I think somepony very powerful sensed the birth rate of Equestria was dropping alarmingly, so she used an athletic, pretty and healthful mare to mother hundreds of thousands of foals that will start a new generation of Equestrians, guaranteeing the survival of the pony race for thousands of years to come. Dashie knows that, and she’s having a huge ego boost. Besides, look at this face, she’s just so happy to be a mom…

And in passing, this powerful being is having a good laugh by trolling the Cloudsdelians. I think that after some days of rest, Dashie will eventually go back to her regular size and live a normal life, hailed as more than a heroine: she will be treated like a goddess in Equestria. Just like the being that got her magically pregnant in the first place.
