Made for the art contest at UK Ponycon. It made second place. In the kids category… _ At entering I was just told to put my name at the back of the picture. There were already 6 or 7 other pictures and I just put mine beneath. Later they put name tags on the pictures. I didn’t see the ‘kids’ written on it. I don’t know if it wasn’t there at first or if I was just too focused on “that are not the titles of my pictures, why didn’t they ask this in the first place?” to see it. But anyway, I entered two pictures. Same name, same handwriting, sketch on the back. So why was one put under kids? Back to the picture.I had fun drawing this. After practicing poses for a while this is my first ‘real’ picture. I first wanted to draw Minty searching for a treasure at the end of the rainbow but I don’t have the right green for her. So I decided to draw one of my favourite ponies, Lemon Drop. And what would be a better treasure than home?I messed up on the legs of the weather pony. But it’s so small, it probably won’t be noticed.
