“As for the colors:
Twilight - Compassion. (errr… purple pony, purple ring.)
Pinkie - Rage. (Because she’s pretty much governed by instinct. And we all know what happens when she really loses it.)
Dash - Hope. (Well, she has a lot of hope .. even if it’s hope in herself. Also, that way she can keep Pinkie’s rage-powers in check.)
Rarity - Willpower. (She has lots of it. And green suits her.)
Applejack - Avarice (mainly because she’s orange. But she’s also pretty money-hungry.)
Fluttershy - Fear (naturally. Also, the STARE.)
Love would go to Spike, but I didn’t include him in the commission. He would just run after Rarity anyway.
The matching colors are mostly coincidence, but y’know, fuck it. It works out somehow.”

Good point, at least that means that problems, like cozy, tired, and queen chrysalis will now be solved, as long as the ring is kept on, but that’s what nails- I mean happiness spikes, are for

Maybe she’s one of whoever made the rings? She does suggest doing some “greater good” brainwashing on Discord in “Keep Calm and Flutter On”, and there’s the whole “want it need it” thing from Lesson Zero”, so she’s clearly willing to go down that road.
