Even without this, it’s glaringly obvious that’s where she’s headed.

Twilight’s student, going down the same path as her
Very strong magically
A whole finale dedicated solely to her becoming a leader
Writers and voice actors not denying it but saying she still has “a long way to go”

Now it’s not going to be this season since there’s movie-branded toys with her that don’t have any wings, but I’d bet actual money that it’s going to be at the end of the next. Because it’d be after three seasons, just like Twilight.
