What happened in 1989 was pretty complicated if I have to say.To some extent it’s a failed color revolution against the leadership of CPC.I believe people back then demanded a reform similar to the one in USSR which led to the fall of itself.

I admit I didn’t initially realize that this was supposed to be Tiananmen Square ( or at least that seems to be the general consensus as to what this is). I thought it was yet another Fallout thing or something. Interesting idea for the subject matter and certainly well done.

Ah, I see. China has always been quite clandestine when to comes to anything related to 1989, especially the tank man. Regardless, that is quite the narrative you’ve heard; given the nature of the Chinese government, I certainly don’t doubt that it could be true. Thanks for sharing.

I think it’s safe to say that there almost certainly never will be, given how malicious/incompetent the Chinese government has proven itself over the years. The internet is full of all kinds of speculation, but I’m mostly going by complete hearsay friend-of-a-friend type info from someone I used to work with who said [name I can’t remember, but matched one in some of the speculation I’ve seen] was a childhood friend of his who he recognized from magazine photos published after the fact, and whose family said he got taken away by a special police squad that told him he was headed for a work camp.
 
So, basically, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

In this scenario, it is the tank that is standing up to Twilight.
