admittedly i jumped the gun a bit because at the time of writing the previous comments i had not yet had time to read the other pages and wasn’t aware that this comic is a what if and not related to the yak comic, which i liked.
however my one point still stands, i think this Blueblood is pretty funny and i like him.
Likening Blueblood to Booster Gold is both kinda funny and really fitting.
The one from the other comic, sure. This one was just one joke drawn out over 30+ pages; one that, at least for me, became boring after the first third.
That changes nothing.
I’m thinking my point may not be getting across.
The season one guy is the one note, snobby, rich guy trope who’s only there to be rarity’s foil for the episode. He was boring.
This one from this and the other comic is like if he was Booster Gold but lacked self confidence issues or batman from the lego movie, which is funny.
The point is, this one is more interesting and funnier.
The one from the show also knew the meaning of words like “thank you”. I doubt this one here does.
@Starswirl
The show version(in the few minutes we saw him in season 1) is a self absorbed, poncy pris who couldn’t get his feet dirty and cried when someone yelled him.
This version, while still self absorbed and a ponce, is a self capable, smooth talker who’s ego so awesome that he lets nothing get him down to the point that getting sent to the moon’s just an opportunity to him.
Not really. The one on the show wasn’t as bad as this one.
To clarify: I mean ‘bad’ as in behaviour.
You already have this version on the show.
I was thinking the same thing… about the version of him in last year’s Friends Forever issue with Shining Armor.
shrug
NMM’s Fiendship shows that she can invade dreams and spy on Equestria. Maybe seeing Blueblood being Celestia’s apprentice was enough for her to decide to move up her schedule?
How does Blueblood being Replacement Twilight mean Nightmare Moon shows up early?
Heh, he peeked through the fourth wall again.
