But race is just psychological, it’s saying that different amount of melanin in ones skin actually mean something more than that skin is darker or lighter. Race is a social construct, a figment of mental creation. Race doesn’t exist any more than a lively corpse does.
Celestia is so old she’s likely seem things that are actually weird and bad and that we can’t even imagine.
Anyway, I love the way she says “oh, that’s how it’s called nowadays”, nonchalantly and completely cool. Maybe it’s because I’m used to the really weird shit I’ve seen people put Celestia through in fanficfion.
Magic makes this kind of trivial, doesn’t it? In the real world you can’t completely change your gender no matter how hard you want to. We just don’t have the methods.

Suddenly chainsaw noises
She probably even signed it. It must be part of the never ending bureaucracy the princesses seems to manage.
…WHAT.
Weirdly, she does come back at the end, kind of.

That sounds like something I’d read just to laugh at it.
I gotta check the like/dislike ratio.
My headcanon is that alicorns regenerate after they die so eventually Celestia would just show back up and be like
GURL
WHAT THE HECK
You mean, like this one where she dies during childbirth and her skin is peeled off and sewn onto her baby by her grieving wife, Starlight Glimmer.
Seriously, it starts off bad and just keeps getting worse.

That’s funny. It’s like saying race is psychological, it’s just funny to say. ;)
“Magic Duel” implied that sex change magic is not currently available, and is in fact considered impossible.
@Hugobertington.Esq
You really expect anything less than a complete background check for someone trying to woo the sun?
Gender is the pychological one, so your gender is whatever you want.
Sex is the physiological one that’s more difficult to shift thoroughly.
Uhh
Bit intrusive, nah?
This would’ve been a past love of hers. But still, she probably was at least a century old at that point.
And what exactly did they used to call it?
