Except for the fact Twilight orders a Daffodil and Daisy Sandwich in the show. You wouldn’t put Cake in a sandwich would you.
It’s also funny that a lot of people assume people hated her solely because she was the queen. They actually hated her because she was Austrian.
Actually it was more along the lines of “if the peasants don’t have bread, they should eat cake instead”. The quote exemplified Marie Antoinette’s cluelessness over the plight of the peasantry.
She wanted to feed them cake when they can’t afford bread.
