Mentioning things in the comments can be helpful for the reason ling said, so long as it’s in a polite manner. That said, you should also add it yourself if you’re going to mention it, instead of assuming the op is someone who regularly checks back and will do it themselves.

While one should add missing tags upon noticing them, I think a reminder to the uploader in the comments can be helpful too.
For the record though, I just didn’t notice the eyes were different colors.
