You can say that about any character, really. Twilight is actually VERY comparable to DC characters according to her stats on the Vs wiki

As for the episode itself, I found this Youtuber who dissects their research very thoroughly and it turns out, Death Battle COMPLETELY botched both characters, but mostly Twilight

In fact, his research predicting Twilight winning was FAR more accurate compared to their research

I mean, Raven’s pretty powerful as a character, though.

No Discord may not be a Unicorn, but given the context of the image, Bill is in Equestria, which just by him being in Equestria alone, would render him powerless due to the abundance of Unicorns, remember, its a unicorns hair that helped create the barrier that repelled Bills powers, and that was with the use of 1 hair, we are talking about millions of hairs from hundreds of unicorns that live in Equestria, the entirety of Ponyville, Canterlot, Mannehatten, ect anywhere unicorns live would be shielded from Bills Weirdmogeddon. Also Discords issue is his arrogance, not that hes dumb, he just does not usually believe he can be defeated so easily. I agree yes Discord could have moved from the Elements, but we really don’t know how well that would have worked and honestly we could have said the same for Nightmare Moon or Tirek as well as the Sirens, so we don’t really know if it would be as simple as running or teleporting away to escape the elements. I feel once the rainbow is cast, it is to late to avoid it.
 
Yes but we don’t really know what properties that stone was using, to suppress Discords power, it’s possible it was using a form of Harmony magic, as that is the only magic known to effect Discord, which if that is the case then Bill would not have access to it, and even if he did bring such an artifact into the battle to stop Discord, it’s possible it could affect Bill as well.
 
Sure, but most of Bill’s ability to manipulate, falls down to him being able to provide something the other person would want and that only he could provide them. Discord would have far more means to get whatever it is he would want than Bill could ever provide him. The only thing Bill could offer Discord is the same Deal that Tirek offered him, but given the bond, he now has with Fluttershy, and the fact he would have learned from Tirek, I don’t believe even that is something Bill could offer.
 
Yes, some of the filler episodes might have him being a dick when he was interacting with ponies outside of Twilight, but usually, when he was interacting with Twilight, his main goal was to teach her that she had the power to overcome her difficulties. That isn’t so much him being a dick, as he does not want to become the goto person to stop every threat that comes to Equestria as 1: that would not be fair to him and would make it seem he is nothing but a weapon rather than a friend and 2: He is lazy, so I doubt he would want to keep be bothered over every little squabble. Also, where would it stop, once the major villains stopped trying because they could not stand up to Discord, what would be doing in between world-ending events? Ending squabbles between friends? That does not sound like something Discord would do.

Good point, but I get the feeling he’ll be more willing to apply himself in this situation. and again he doesn’t really need intelligence when he has raw power, all of it focused on a single target

Well, You make some good points, What with covering Bill’s limits on his powers.  
But there are still some flaws in your argument.
 
“very clear weakness to unicorn magic” Well, Discord isn’t a unicorn is he? Sure he could easily get Twi and friends to help him, But he has shown to be extremely egotistical and Do things on his own…Which almost always (if not just always) backfires on him.
 
“virtually no limitation” Again, He was effected by the Chrysalis throne and couldn’t use his powers (And in said episode the most he does is just provide a distraction…That’s it) Meaning he could become powerless and not be able to do a thing about it.
 
“down to pure luck and the right alignment for the ponies that they were able to stop him” No, It was cuz Discord was too dumb to see that they were undiscorded…Something He should have noticed right away since HE’s the one that did discorded them in the first place! Plus He could have easily just snapped the EoH away the moment things went south or teleported himself away, but didn’t…cuz he was too dumb to think of that. Same thing with Tirek when He betrayed Discord. Discord simply just stood there like an idiot and had his magic stolen.

You also didn’t bring up anything that could counter Discord being talk down from doing stuff. Bill is a master At negotiating things and since Discord has been fooled by numerous characters (even when he should know better), It’s not hard to see a scenario where Bill convinces Discord to “make a deal” and then Tricks Discord into giving up his body, powers, or just getting his ass instantly killed.
 
Also no, most of his actions were just him being a dick for the sake of being a dick (Like what lesson was their to be learned from torturing Starlight and the students? Something that Is implied he was going to do even if Twi put him in charge.)

Um no, sorry, you seem to have a very scewed perception of Bill Cypher. Bill has no capabilities of travelling between dimensions other than using the DreamScape, but he can only affect peoples dreams, he can’t affect the world around them while in the DreamScape unless he possesses a body, and even then, he is limited to the limitations of the person he is possessing. This is why he required that portal to be torn open, he could not do it himself. He also has been shown to have a very clear weakness to unicorn magic (something Equestria has an abundance of) and can be tricked, relatively easy, if you know his weakness. He also could not escape a barrier on the outskirts of Gravity Falls, something Discord can easily do. Also, he can only affect the actual world around him, if he has his physical body, whereas we have seen numerous times that not only can Discord effect area’s he isn’t physically there, he can also project an Astro projection of himself ( similar to what Bill does in the DreamScape) and can affect the world around him, a technic he used to bypass a banishment spell Starlight Glimmer used on him which prevented his physical form from appearing. Discord has been shown to be able to tear open portals to other dimensions with easy, had enough foresight to make a contingency plan in the form of Plunder Seeds, that mind you, he just casually scattered in front of the ponies that could have stopped the plan that had he not been reformed beforehand could have been a brilliant way of allowing him to return had he remained a villain. He has virtually no limitation to his powers whereas a lot of Bills seems to be based on him having to make a deal, Ford even mentioned that Bill could not just enter someone’s mind with them allowing him to, something Discord is capable of doing. Yes Bill maybe more deadlier than Discord, but that because Bill is both insane and completely evil, whereas Discord is and always has been a trickster, he spreads chaos purely for his own amusement rather than gaining any sick pleasure out of doing it, Discord even made his stance clear in his very first appearance, he may love causing chaos, but he isn’t a monster, especially one that would turn others to stone. Which he stayed true to his word, he could have easily turned Celestia, Twilight and the others to stone and ruled Equestria, but he was above doing such a thing, this shows a clear difference in how Discord behaves verse Bill, Bill would have turned whoever he saw as a threat to stone and then went after everyone else, which is what he did. So I am sorry, at the end of the day, Discord just has more power and fewer restrictions than Bill does, Bill may be more violent, but that’s only because one Discord is in a show meant for small children, so of course he will never try to kill someone, but also, Discord has proven time and again that when he really is motivated, he is nearly unstoppable, in the two times he was defeated in the series, it was down to pure luck and the right alignment for the ponies that they were able to stop him, he only really started becoming incompetent once he was reformed and most if not all of his actions was centered around teach Twilight and her friends the important lessons they would need for Twilight to succeed so that Twilight and her friends and Equestria did not become solely dependant on him.

Yah but thats because discord is normally apathetic and relaxed, just doing random shit for the sake of doing random shit. but now he has a reason to use all his power, and with it all focused on one being. Discord was already powerful when not even trying, god knows what power he has now

Bill is more clever, More deadly, has minions, And If He is too be believed, has destroyed universes! (Discord has done nothing close to that) And the only way to defeat him in the mortal realm was to banish him…which Stan messed up and they had to use plan B. And even when he was “killed”, They are multiple theories That he’s not dead and how he can easily come back.
 
Discord is…well, an idiot, Instead of making sure everything is going to plan, he just automatically believes he can’t be beat, Has used less deadly magic, the worse he can do is summing monsters (that Bill can easily dispatch) nearly sending a pony to a puppet universe (Which won’t work on Bill, since he can easily teleport back) and discording (Which wouldn’t work on Bill). Bill can counter anything discord throw at him. Discord also can be talk down from doing stuff (Was done by Fluttershy, Tirek, Starlight), and if he was so powerful he would have had a fighting chance against Tirek (Tirek didn’t even get that much powerful with Discords magic Either) and He wouldn’t have been effected by the Chrysalis throne and eventually captured

Honestly, neither Bill nor Discord are screwed here since they’re basically equal in power. However, the universe, possibly multiverse depending on what Discord does, IS screwed because it will be absolutely destroyed by the chaotic fight between these two Chaos Gods.
