9 episodes sounds a bit long, but that might just be because I’m more used to western cartoons, which are usually expected to start things off in the first episode.

Honestly, I think you should power through phantom blood and watch it as a whole otherwise you miss certain nuances.
 
9 episodes is not that long.

…Yeah, I don’t think they needed all those episodes for that. I didn’t even make it through the first one and it was already obvious that he had no redeeming qualities.

Episode 6 or 7 is where the series really start. Phantom Blood just shows how much of a dick DIO is.

Sonata, I’m thinking either “Nimrod” or “Head Like A Hole”.
 
Or if you want something simpler, they could be color coded: Sonata gets “Aqua”, Aria “Pink”, and Adagio “Blondie”.
 
Disclaimer: Most of my Jojo knowledge is second-hand. First episode of the anime kind of lost me. (I’ve been meaning to ask where I should start and try from there, but keep forgetting).

If her stand isn’t named “Master of Puppets,” I’ll be disappointed.

It jumpstarts the process for people who have the potential to develop a Stand in the first place. If a person does not have the required spiritual strength, using the arrow will simply kill them.

You know, I’ve always been a little confused by the ‘revenge for humiliation’ thing. Like, nevermind taking away their magic, what might have amounted to their special talents (which is considered truly heinous when it’s done to a pony), and any hope they ever had of their goal of being adored again on top of being stuck in a world they hate, they must be petty enough that having been embarrassed would be their main beef with the Rainbooms.
 
Then again, I guess giving the bad guys (which the sirens definitely were) any measure of valid motive for what they do might make for a bit of moral grey area, which nobody rooting for the good guys seems to like. :/

But Adagio, you guys already had Stands! Unless it’s time to see what Adagion in D Requiem can do.

I just wanted to play with the idea of past villains - the truly malevolent ones - gaining some way to level the playing field with the Humane Seven after the Camp Everfree incident.
