The mighty apple clan, was founded by the stalwart lady Jack. During the first war of darkness Jack rallied ponies from across equestria many her distant relatives and those not afraid to die. The apple clan had the highest rated loses among clans during the early days of the war, for not only did they assault the forces of darkness but became the shield of the empire. The apple clan holds the lands to the furthest south stretching from a bit of the coast next to the onyx sea across to the great mt’s, maintaining vigilance over the mighty flim wall. The apples are the first line of defense against mass invasions of the obsidian lands. This leads many samurai of the apple clan to grow a callous and gruff demeanor as the other clans squabble about in relative safety compared to the dangers of being an apple samurai. This lead to a significant conflict between lady jack and one of her old friends, for jack would not sit idle when another so casually mentioned not being able to tell an apple samurai from a farmer. Lady jack dueled her old friend but fate stepped in for though jack slit that friends throat she lost a foreleg in the duel. Lady Cadenze calling the duel a draw from both striking each other at the same time. Both managed to survive but there friendship was killed in the duel. Even a thousand years later there remains a tension between the two clans. Jack was not one to lay idle even having lost one of her forelegs, jack dawned her mighty heavy armor and carried her tetsubo into battle even well into her elder years. Lady jack was reported to be the first of the 7 hero’s to fight Sombra directly to fall in battle, but no clan will undermine her sacrifices for it was her always acting as the shield for her fellows that gave them time to finish the spell that allowed them to wound the lord of the obsidian lands enough to send him back to his realm and end the first war of darkness for a time. There are many things to say about lady jack, she was crude,brutish,stalwart,strong and unyielding. Her jack samurai inheriting these traits from the founder of there family and clan. To face a line of apple’s is to face the unbreaking wall of the empire.
