That is a matter of opinion. I think the story was sound and enjoyable. The only problem with it is that I thought that making Celestia a raging jerk to endear Luna was unnecessary. Luna could afford to be an idiot in that story and it could progress exactly tge same with Celestia being sympathetic to her. It’s not like Luna’s the one lacking. And I thought Starswirl was just perfect.
 
At least Celestia did change. In the typical heavy handed and obtuse way the franchise deal with these things, but it could’ve been worse.

But from an amateur’s POV, Celestia’s treatment in this issue can be summed up as ‘She spends the first half as a teenage brat, then Luna gets in danger, at which point she spends the rest of the issue being Best Sister.’
 
It’s probably one of the better depictions of Celestia. Take that as you will.
