That's not what I'm seeing. i looked through the earlier comments, and from what I can tell, the debate began when some users expressed their disappointment with yet another blatant drama bait post about Starlight and criticized some of the haters for not having meaningful reasons to dislike Starlight. People (at least those who weren't over-zealous or part of a vocal minority) were upset at this not because it expressed a negative opinion about Starlight, but rather because posts like these (in a meme format, no less) add nothing of value to the discussion and only further fan the flames.
