It seems this teacup design is ubiquitous in Equestria.  
Almost like those Corelle cups.  

There isn’t much of difference between these two in the aspect of number of faces.  
JJtheone123 has 160 quads and 16 tris (336 converted tris) for the cup (without handle, without inside or the top)  
walter3Dstuff has 72 quads and 12 tris (156 converted tris) for the cup (without handle, without inside or the top)  
Making JJtheone123’s more than 2× smoother.
 
Is it this cup (on the table) it’s based on?  

 
Then JJtheone123’s seems to be more correct in height.
 
Texture wise, JJtheone123’s looks wobbly, and some glitchyness on the left side. walter3Dstuff’s texture is much smoother. However, both are too large, and don’t have enough rings.
 
I score 2-1 to JJtheone123 for this.
 
…just don’t be fooled by the shading.
 
 
EDIT: Someone corrected the tags between I started to write and when I was done … so now I see which episode it’s from. But I guess it’s still the same asset being used.

JJ has a better model, but Walter has a better UV for the texture.

I don’t know what Walter did but I just took the original teacup image and mapped the border to the cup. Technically it has a painter plugin but I can’t use it.

how did you do the texture? UV mapping and then making it in photoshop or does blender has a 3D painter plugin or something?

we just did this in a half hour both. In mine the back isn’t even textured

JJ’s won. but this one could need some more work as well. the texture doesnt look good on both cups.
