Comic 44 came out in May 1987. It’s a surprisingly weird and folkloric issue, my favourite type.
The titular story, The Maytime Show, is chock full of weird pony fertility rituals and ends up with
Fluttershy getting lei’dPosey getting garlanded with flowers by Majesty after jumping over a wishing well full of milky white fluid courtesy of Princess Pearl. No, I am not making this up.Edited
