Yeah, me too. I’ve been out of the loop for quite a while.
I would REALLY like that to be true. The VA for Storm King was personally stoked about it (mainly doing work that is a bit more age appropriate for his kids), though he did joke about how he “naturally” was signed on as the bad guy.
I think the designs of the new characters speak for the tone of the movie: same as the show, but on a grander scale.
I’m surprised you’re only now learning about this film.
One can hope. Still gonna have to take the stance of being wary. Rather be ready in case it’s bad and pleasantly wrong if it turns out good/awesome.
Lionsgate is only distributing it, they gave the MLP staff total control
