Seriously, this is something that was bugging me a little, and you can share your opinion on the comments as well. Why do human counterparts of Unicorns don’t get horns? Sunset and Sci-Twi get some kind of horn in her Daydream and Midnight forms, but a physical one is never present. Perhaps it was a matter of rushing things to market (animation and toy otherwise). In my headcanon, such counterparts do get a horn, and so I present it here.

IIRC only Sunset Satan and Midnight Sparkle did get to have proper tails.
Agreed. I also wished, like above with the horns, they got ACTUAL tails instead of those strange hair extension faux-tails they get when they pony-up, but you know, merchandising…
Seems kind of strange. I don’t think the ponied up version look all that human to me so it imo it wouldn’t have been an issue. The concept art for the EqG minis had them with horns and wings so I think it’s mostly due to laziness on Hasbro’s part.
Something like that yea.
Like magic Vision gems that jut out unicorn horns of light and/or darkness instead of those cloudy baubles that just sit on Sunset Satan’s forehead? :j
