Thats the idea lol, but you should try editing further into the file. If you edit the beginning of it (or the header) it’ll break. I suggest a hex editor o3o
Your best bet is with an uncompressed or raw file format. Try FFMpeg to encode your shit into raw data :>

Never knew how to corrupt files.. I tried once with just messing with the code (changing the picture format into a .txt format and put it back into .jpg format) but it failed.
