He was also the reason that we stopped having comics that were just about Twilight crying. This break-up plot was just bad all around, and now we’re probably going to be back to that for no reason.
I’d frankly prefer excising them both and doing West Wing Meets The Office Meets Ponies on another blog altogether.

Greg was basically the third wheel in a group of seven. That was how useless he was.
Frankly I’d prefer the romance to political subterfuge that’s wildly out-of-tone with the rest of the series.
A ‘plot tumor’ that was only brought up, what, once every 4 or 5 updates?
Nah, burying Pony Ross was the best move. Now the series can focus on dorky Twilight and sporadic political subterfuge without a romantic plot tumor.
It has more misunderstandings than Kamen Rider Faiz.
I’m glad to get back to the usual flow of this series, but I won’t be satisfied until Spike is good on his offer to make things right. Who knows, it might end up surprisingly hilarious if Greg and TS get back together. I won’t hold my breath, but I really hope that whole issue between them gets resolved.
I think the break up was to get back to the status quo, but yeah it wasn’t very well handled in that regard.
This breakup is stupid and basically happened because nobody talks to each other. Greg was basically about to explain to Twilight what was going on but Twilight instead told him no dont tell me I know you’re awful and Greg was like yeah k. Spike, who knows what’s going on, is silent too because fuck if I know. It’s an idiot plot that couldn’t exist if any one person acted reasonable.
In summary all participants are now feeling awful for no reason and nobody talks about it and I swear to god if this causes the relationship to be permanently over I will write a strongly worded comment about it.

Well that’s reassuring. No matter the intentions, if you fuck up, it’s over.
And besides. It seems here that Twilight didn’t even wanna end their relationship. And he’s really heartbroken too. It seems this breakup is doing more harm than good tbh.

She trusted him, and he hurt her. The fact that he was trying to help her just makes it more painful to see.
