Texas is BIG though. You can find places and sub regions with vastly different cultures. Hate the country feel which is idotic you can move to Austin and pretend to not be of Texas. Then after you have moved to Austin if you ever bother to leave and look around you would realize a good portion of the area to the south and west is actually of German decent with spots of tejano and then you could drive on over to San Antonio and get real breakfast tacos.
sounds like someone’s never been to ohio
I admire the enthusiasm, but no. Ohio shall prevail.

Sorry for the late reply.
Ohio has DEVO. For that, this Pennsyltuckian is thankful.

(Escape from Ohio, by Electric Six.) It’s the most boring of time outs! It’s like if Kansas were an airport passenger waiting room.

“We’re not Detroit!”
Sure, the landscape is mostly flat except for the south and eastern ends. The cities aren’t particularly impressive, with maybe Cleveland or Cincinnati being the closest? Hell, even the only big game you can hunt is white tailed deer, unless you count coyotes.
But if there’s one good thing living near Columbus, it’s that you have both Kings island and Cedar point to choose from when it comes to theme parks in reasonable driving distance.
@Kalenz
Some parts of Ohio, though…
