Regarding Slimer, while the Real Ghostbusters cartoon series overused him towards the second half of its life (especially when they changed the title of the show (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻), you could at least say that Slimer represents an iconic part of the original film and having him as a mascot/peripheral character in the cartoon made good sense. However, Glimmer, like Hot Rod, was a late addition to her/his franchise, and the over exposure of the character at the expense of older and more established characters is/was a terrible mistake.

If I did that I’d get so much flak and downvotes for depicting the cast so drastically out of character since everyone just loves Starlight so much they would never do such a thing to her, she’s perfect in every way don’t ya know….
 
And y’know, after having rewatched some Phelous vids I’ve realized how much Starlight has in common with…..Slimer…..

I know this was supposed to be a joke but I can’t help but want a comeuppance sequel, where Starlight gets shunned or shamed for kicking you out, or something.

I love Glimmy, but I also love your comic. Very funny!
 
However, just saying, you kinda made a good point for liking Glimmy when she was explaining her chsrwcter. I was like “ok, does he like her or not?”

Terry is popular because of his very crazy and unique artstyle and sense of humor. But since I found out that he’s a really big Starlight hater || and a big Discord ass kisser lover ||, the meager amounts of respect and interest I had for him were quickly lost.

I’ll say this in Spawn’s defense. Of the three important characters you mentioned, he has the most interesting character design by a huge margin. I also think he has a better rogue’s gallery as well.

Oh no nothing like that, it’s just…..well…..sadly Spawn is unavoidably in the same camp of “90s Edglord Trash” as Youngblood. On the bright side he was one of three new characters to survive that original Dark Age of Comics and become mainstream iconic, the other two being Cable and Deadpool. But yeah bottom line his reputation among comic readers is…..divisive…..

Sorry for the confusion. I added the “leaving the fandom” tag, which usually serves as a label for posts where the creator is melo drama tically talking about their departure from our lives, and how they will be glad to be rid of our cancerous community, etc. However, in this case, I felt the tag was still appropriate because that is literally a theme of the comic itself.
 
P.S. Congrats to Terry for 2nd Violator reference. That is a very small and exclusive club to be in.
