but yet hasbro still has not made any toys with the new design

As bad as their new design is, at least it feels more “lively” than the old colourization, where they were decayed and hungry. Nostalgia getting in the way of (semi)logical design.
So really, the left for them would looks like they forgot to add the hole on the model, you have to give them a more noticeable change or it will look like an error of the old model.
But it’as very dull, it’s such a little change from before it makes it actully rather lazy if they did do that, they basically just fill the holes.
You can all the other one “covered in puke” but it is a actual change in looks to go with the change they went thought.
