It wasn’t Strawberry’s first comment that comes under observation though. She belittled apples AND Applejack for liking them. The remark hold more power when the Apple family are canonly famous in the town and their apple farm’s role in the town’s foundation publicly cerebrated. It not like Strawberry can claim ignorance about Applejack, she knew what her delivered lines would do before she slammed the door in AJ’s face. Yes, Applejack was also wrong in this episode but at least for a good chuck of it AJ’s remarks weren’t intended to hurt anyone. Even in her anger with Strawberry, Applejack didn’t care get mad at her for liking strawberries, nor did AJ resort to a personal insult.
 
Considering that Applejack was already keyed up in her fight with Rarity, Applejack still came off better than Strawberry, who was relaxing in her own home before, in that exchange.

I tried to search for her on youtube and I’m surprised she actually a blind bag pony. Her toy description is so simple and innocent bu lol her first appearance on the show has her so mean spirited.

I normally like AJ, but man was it good to see Strawberry here taking her down a few pegs.

I liked it when she stuffed a strawberry in her mouth and ate it in front of AJ. This pony has so much spite seething within her.

I’m going to headcanon she’s a strawberry connoisseur in the vein of a wine connoisseur until I’m proven wrong.

At least apples don’t rot into a moldy soup five hours after being picked!

This. It was like Rarity already knew what was gonna happen if she places AJ as a judge from the very start of the episode and then had this Strawberry Sunrise pony all ready to teach AJ a lesson when she does exactly what Rarity was expecting her to do.
