Yes! That sums it up perfectly! I don’t think AJ would have been THAT dense and insensitive, but it did go somewhere.

After watching the remainder of the episode, I stand corrected I thought they were turning AJ into a downright BITCH in this episode and in many ways…SHE WAS! But by the end of it they did something I didn’t quite expect…Rarity giving her a taste of her own medicine. It was then that she was humbled down and her reaction was completely on point with her character once she realized how much of a bitch she was being.
 
This writer took a big risk with this episode and it paid off. They pushed AJ’s character abit out of the viewer’s comfort zone but managed to develop her character a little more.

Okay, I’ve got to find out who the writer of the last two episode is…they do good in the continuity and character department but screw up so badly in all others.
