The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

@socdev
Characters with an intelligence level fixed for lil kids, not everyone, specially not us.
dude have you ever seen disney cartoons. they’re exactly like mlp. they can be enjoyable for both kids and adults
Background Pony #1807
as big as this fandom is, don’t you think someone could organize a large group together and convince Hasbro that selling out to Disney is a very bad idea? If Hasbro could be convinced that Disney would ruin the show and thus one of their biggest, if not THE biggest toy line they have, I’m sure they would at least consider not selling out. Not only that but I think Hasbro would gain a lot more fans and support for not giving into Disney’s greed. Keep in mind that even though Disney owns Hasbro still makes money off of merchandise and if Disney runied MLP, which I’m sure they would, Hasbro would not be making money from toy sales either.

@silver eclipse: boycott Hasbro is in no way the solution, it’s not their fault that Disney wants to buy them, the former option sounds more like the right one.

And what Frostwolf123 says is very true and resumes the whole problem; take for example the fan-made episode “double rainboom” which has hasbro’s approval, do you think Disney with allow any of that stuff?, I think not.
SensoryOgreload

My reasons are due to that being very akin to non-competitive behavior by Disney just trying to buy out the competition (Like many other corporate monopolies).

This could end the fandom.

I’m serious. Everything we love, buried under a cease and desist mountain. Fan content, music, art, animation, videos, even this very site. GONE.

And even that’s if show stays the same. Odds that the hub and FIM will go on unchanged? Not likely.

I for one agree with Ace Sorou, it doesn’t matter that Disney has way more resources than Hasbro, Hasbro has taken the time and patience to listen to us and even change and adapt the show to a wider audience, all which Disney has never done (as far as I know) and probably wouldn’t start doing now.
