Technically, Twilight did not imitate Rarity. Apple Bloom somehow managed to use her loopedy hoop to make Twilight’s mane like that. She did not mimic Rarity’s behavior with it like the other two shown.

AJ already kind of imitated her in “Simple Ways” with the “Applejewel” scene. Not the hairstyle, but the mannerisms and demeanor.
 
Also, I would love to see Fluttershy imitate Rarity. That would be great.

Oh please, they just have a vaguely similar hairstyle to yours. Now if they grab your fainting couch, a big tub of ice cream and start bawling their eyes and mascara out over minor-to-moderate things…
