So I had a thought. Why would Applejack be have THIS dream. I would assume that she actually has memories of her parents since they must have been around at least until Applebloom was born. The only explanation I can think of is the Applejack is Applebloom’s mother theory…

We don’t need names to know which one is her father. Just look at the hooves ;-)

Bright Mac is the dad and Pear Butter is the mom. That’s final and you can bet on it. Based on artistic cues and patterns on this show, we can logically deduce that the yellow pony on the left is male.

Do we really know that? If it was revealed who was who at that Toy Fair panel, I can’t find anything on it beyond what was reported on EQD. The closest thing to a confirmation I could find online was this article, which also (incorrectly) said Bow Hothoof was RD’s mom and Windy Whistles was the dad.
 
Going by names alone, I’m going to go and say it’s accurate in this case on the grounds that a.) they have a son named Big Mac(intosh), and b.) “Butter” sounds like a part of an affectionate female nickname, like “Honey Butter” or something.

OK, inspires by sumbozo, let’s put a bit of happiness here! See, isn’t AJ lovely?

We already knew that Bright Mac was her dad and Pear Butter is the mom.
 
That said, from this image, we can see that Bright Mac is on the left (note his hooves), and Pear Butter is on the right.

So, which one’s Bright Mac and which one’s Pear Butter? I don’t know if it was confirmed which one was the mom or dad.
