In Southern California, our accent has a similar creaky voice you hear Lily Lace speak with. Young women that speak in an exaggerated manner like LSP or Lily are known as “Valley Girls”, because the (exaggerated) accent is from a region of Los Angeles called the San Fernando Valley.
See the movies Valley Girl and Clueless as an example.
Also, Frank Zappa’s “Valley Girl” is worth a listen.
I’m not american so I have no idea what you’re talking about. The only other character I know who talks like this is LSP.
To be fair, LSP does kinda talk like a valley girl.

Those of us that don’t live in America like me can’t effect the ratings tho. The tv show is mostly a catalyst for toy sales. Hasbro won’t care so long as the toys sell.
i duno man. everyone does woryr how it might impact the usa airing. like if it being out so soon would reduce viewings. though i have no idea how the children viewers rank in all that.

The really sad part is that we wouldn’t have gotten them until June 3 if Canada didn’t jump the gun with 2 episodes every weekend.
