your current filter.I live in a monarchy-ruled country, and I must say that here both Twily and Flurry would be most definetely useless but disgracefully powerful parasites sorrounded by other parasites, which in turn create even more parasites (so the M6, Spike, Glim Glam and Shimmy would be included, and still they would be the tip of the parasiceberg).
But in Equestria, I’ll still say “endut hoch hech”. Because, you know… Avoiding problems with the fanbase and so… I’m kinda wimp.

You have to admit that it’s kind of strange for Equestria Girls to make a joke about Sunset turning back into a pony briefly and standing bipedal and it’s just that, a joke, but there’s an artist who draws ponies who are ponies the whole time and just thinks it is how they stand.
“Doesn’t fit the franchise” is entirely subjective.
You’re confusing people not liking styles that don’t fit with the franchise with people wanting everything to look like the show.
Screw staying “on-model.” This is cute.
