There’s also that matter right there. I didn’t state it because I thought it was obvious. Omnics aren’t people. They’ve machines. While they’re sentient and intelligent I think it’s a little stretch calling it “racism” because someone distrusts them.
 
So it wasn’t just “He’s not racist because his hatred is justified”, it was “It’s not really racism because these are frigging machines, and the world just had a Skynet-level scenario.”

Have you considered that the general mistrust of a group of people based on physical characteristics that arose due to their parentage might be considered racist regardless of whether or not such racism is justified?
 
I’m not saying that racism against humans is justified, but there are hypothetical situations where racism is perhaps justified. It’s a conversation that should be had, probably not here.
 
That being said, racism is a bad word since omnics aren’t really human. I wouldn’t even know what to call it.
 
Anyway, it’s all moot since if anyone was gonna be torb in the MLP universe it would be this guy right here.

Racist Swede? The world is recovering from a literal war with machines in which hundreds of thousands were killed, and entire cities taken out.
 
As an inventor and engineer, he actually designed and built many of the Omnics and weapon systems which were turned against humanity. He never wanted them automated with AI, but kept under human control. He warned people that relying solely on AI was a bad idea. He was mocked and his warnings dismissed, and the powers above him automated his inventions against his wishes.
 
And a human-robot holocaust resulted.
 
He’s justified in his mistrust of Omnics.

Also Starlight is Sombra. The hacking, booping, bad guy but not really bad guy traits…
