-I’m not sure if I should consider myself like a “TRUE METALHEAD FROM HELL 666 WHO HATES POP AND WANT TO KICK YOU ASS” because I don’t look like one… And I love ponies. I’m just a metal fan.
@runesorcerer
Shouldn’t people be happy if something popular leads them to a new song?
I mean yeah, it can be a bit annoying seeing everyone repeat that they came here form such and such, but it means that the song has reached a new audience, it is thus getting more exposure.
Young classical fans are really really cringy because they tend to think they’re so intellectual and rare for listening to this genre. It’s like a new generation of hipsters, but instead of indie, it’s classical.
And I honestly can’t fucking stand them. One time I was looking for a piano song on YouTube, and once I found it I went to the comments to see if anyone had the sheet music.
The comments were full of people saying “I can’t believe people came to this song from [this game] smh 😤😤😤 I came here because I know REAL music, not like them”.

Classical fans can be cringy? My impression of “hardcore classical fans” would consist of old people who hate any and all modern music or perhaps hipster-esque.
Hipsters can’t stand when something they like gains popularity (especially with a different demographic), because then they lose exclusivity.

I wanted to die.
Edited because: Context. More context. All the context.

TBF extremist/hardcore fans of anything can get really cringy sometimes (like us).
But I tend to notice more of that sort of behaviour more from metalheads then other music groups (though classical music fans are up there.)
Instead being badass, sometimes they’re cringy.
God I hate those types of people.
