Love will always prosper, even in the darkest of times. 
Legendbringer’s MT:FOSROH expands on several relationships among the fanbase. 
I’ve portrayed four of my favourites.
 
Top-Left: I’ll Never Let You Down 
Rainbow Dash has never had a good day since Unicornicopia’s takeover, especially after her lifelong best friend (Perhaps more so) Fluttershy found herself married to Rhymey, a Starfleet member which the Bearer of Loyalty regards with teeth-grinding contempt, but resolves to bury her own feelings as long as her friend will be happy. Fluttershy meanwhile is far from happy. Rhymey grows increasingly possessive, disparaging and tries to control every action she takes, attempting to meld her into ‘The Ideal Wife’ in his eyes regardless of her wishes. The Bearer of Kindness’s heart yearns for another, one she’s known all her life and who appreciates her for who she is and always has been. None other than Rainbow Dash. 
After discovering, to her horror, that Rhymey only managed to win her heart with mind-control, something he has used constantly against the Mane 6 at Grand Ruler’s behest, Fluttershy resolves to finally stand up to her abusive husband and, with the help from her friends, is freed of his clutches and finally finds herself beside her one true companion and love of her life. 
Rhymey has not taken it well and loses whatever façade of gentleness he held sway with over his companions. Loyal only to himself, Rhymey has quickly earned the same contempt from everyone else as Rainbow Dash had for him. But the two pegasi are stronger than the arrogant abuser could ever acknowledge and his schemes of revenge will be challenged by one technicolour-maned mare ready for a fight.
 
Top-Right: Her Dragon, Her Knight 
Rarity has never liked fighting, she doesn’t mind saying it. But for her friends, she will gladly pick up her trusty bow and charge into the fray. For her darling Spike, grown in age and stature after an adventure of theirs, she will go to any lengths. 
Now, discovering she is pregnant with the dragon’s hatchling, a kirin in the making, she reluctantly hangs up her bow and she and her husband take some well-needed respite, awaiting the arrival of their child. 
Both secretly harbour fear. Bringing up a child in times of war is never easy and in a regime under Grand Ruler, it is unlikely a pony-dragon cross-breed will be accepted into society without argument. 
But together, they will brave whatever horrors the future may throw at them and rejoice in the gifts of family.
 
Bottom-Right: Growing On Me 
Artie Bristles is not the born soldier and unquestioning lieutenant he’d let others assume. On the contrary he has fast grown disillusioned with Starfleet and it’s harsh and unfair ideals. Having lost several team-mates over the course of the war, Artie finds happiness in the company of Pinkie Pie, the bubbly Bearer of Laughter. 
Doing favours for the kindly Cake family by taking care of the twins, Pumpkin and Pound, Artie spends more and more time with the ever-cheerful mare and finds her presence remarkably endearing, warming to the Equestrians and their ideals of friendship, realising at last that his life can be improved vastly with a friend or two beside him.
 
Bottom-Left: Feeling Themselves Again 
Celestia’s marriage is not a happy one. Grand Ruler’s control over her has fallen and she makes her displeasure with his unsympathetic methods known. Unable to directly oppose him due to the treaty between their two kingdoms, Celestia secretly offers aid to those fighting for what Equestria used to be under her rule. 
But a princess needs her respite and the dashing draconequus, Discord, masquerading as the castle attendant Goldwin, is ready and willing to assist. The two are imaginative lovers to say the least and it is a source of puzzlement and amusement to them and those aware of their liaison that Grand Ruler does not suspect a thing.
 
I just love drawing Discord. You can get away with just about anything with him. Bit risqué with the Dislestia scene but what else would do for a couple as bad-flank as the Princess of Equestria’s Sun and the God of Chaos? 
This is probably the first time I’ve drawn more than one of the Mane 6 and it won’t be the last. I’m enjoying this. 
I’ve found a day of much-needed respite and I’m making the most of it, engaging in an act of extreme catharsis which may as well be MT: FOSROH’s slogan.
