Background: Second born of Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer, born a unicorn, ponies were disappointed they weren’t getting a new alicorn to the growing collection, her mothers were thrilled nonetheless, and always made sure to make her feel just as important and special as her sister. As soon as her cutie mark showed up she has been the apprentice to princess Luna, with whom she had long and philosophical talks about whether the universe is expanding or shrinking. Most ponies expect her to become an alicorn later on
 
About: Daybreak is very skillful with magic, and enjoys reading encyclopedias as light reading. When she’s not reading or studying magic she likes to hang around her sisters and her multiple circles of friends, she used to feel left out on these groups, but after a whole live of an overly social sister and many times reading her mother’s letters about friendship she decided to break out of her shell and become a witty and friendly young mare, now usually taking a friend or two when she decided to spend an afternoon in the castle’s library. She knows about Celestia’s prophecy for her and her sister, she never really wanted to be an alicorn, from what she had seen around mother and sister, the only difference those wings made was that you needed to spend extra time preening them, now it seems like someone has written her future on stone and is not at all pleased by it. She didn’t became irresponsible as her sister, but instead decided to give her studies a rest and see who she was without them, and getting closer to her favorite friends, of course that in Ponyville you outta find a new scientific discovery every time you set a hoof outside of your intended destination.
