your current filter.I was kinda joking, but Starlight’s not invincible. She’s no tougher than an ordinary unicorn, so any one lucky shot can take her out of action, and she has demonstrated a complete lack of skill in close combat.
You’re right about Starlight getting emotional. But she’s not stupid. Her current self is more sensible than most of the characters in MLP
But now she’s got time stopping, gravity spells, the spells she learned from Starlight, and a bunch of other tricks that I can’t remember because they hardly ever come up in the show because plot.
Starlight’s easy. Just bring up her dark past, then wallop her over the head while she’s distracted.
And I imagine Twilight will get one cool scene when she can show off her magic, but I’m not expecting her to beat the villain with a death beam to the chest. Let’s face it, she’s gonna friendship speech.
Pretty sure Starlight would overpower just about any bad guy if she gets angry.

I miss the idea that Twilight is clever. Now they just fire kinetic beams at everything. :(
I meant not jacked on magic roids. We’ve seen her use all these one-off spells over the years; It would be neat to see her mix it up a bit and show off her skills.
