It wasn’t William Dewey, it was his first mate Buddy Buddwick. Guy was a major badass, considering he traveled the world and visited a bunch of Gem locations without any Gems to help.
@Dustcan Well, not exactly a random lion. She apparently had a troupe of lions that she kept around with her but that nobody else knew about except William Dewey. So it was probably a pretty important lion for her to bring it back. Maybe…the Vampire King, from other cartoon? Lol.
So wait, does that mean that EqG Applejack is the result of teen pregnancy? Because EqG PPinkie obviously has the same color scheme, and she probably uses hairspace storage even more often, relative to her screen time, than her pony counterpart does!
The revelation that the teleporting hammerspace-maned lion was created when a normal lion was resurrected from death by magical tears from a space alien is “boring”?
@Keith Mowz Nah, the revelation about Lion’s origins is actually pretty new, in terms of recent episodes. Also, one of the Beach City residents dies. Not saying who though.
@Dustcan
Huh. That’s significantly more boring than I expected; I’m assuming this image is going off of old headcanon/theories then or otherwise is not meant to be 1:1.
Lotta people thought Lion was his mom in the early days, yes. Bunch of revelations later and we find out that he really is his own mom (space rock reincarnation. It’s complicated.) and it’s all but stated that Lion was just some random lion she resurrected. And turned pink.
@Rikmach
Knowing very little about SU, uh. Doesn’t that describe that lion thing he has? Is that his mom, or someone else? (Because I thought his mom basically just dematerialized in the process of giving birth.)
You know, it occurred to me that we don’t know how old Cadance is. Maybe she was involved in the whole love/heal spell that saved Pear Butter’s life. Maybe that act is what turned Cadance into an alicorn.
Or maybe it’s a different universe. (Idk🤷)

Dude, it’s season 5 episode 3 and 4 when Lars turnes pink.

Personally, it wouldn’t surprise me.

said transformation also enables the resurrected to teleport, and turns their hair into a portal to another dimension. So, yeah…
Steven’s tears can bring people back from the dead. And turn them pink.
