I have a full-body soft spot for 16-bit adventure/JRPG games! Crawly’s initial design here is not-so-subtly based on Link’s sprite from LoZ: Link to the Past. If pressed, I’d probably claim as my favorite in the series (though Breath is giving it a serious run for the rupee.) Also, the pink hair’s just too cute and perfect for a pony :D.
Rogue’s more informed by Naga the Serpent from the Slayers OAVs- tall, dark, elegant spellcaster who’s equal parts competent magician and complete hapless goof. I imagine these two’s relationship is a lot like Lina and Naga’s- they work really well together, but they’re both too violently competitive with one another to ever make for an actual team.
Seems like a decent place to start with a couple new characters- can’t wait to develop ’em a bit more :D.
Nah- they horses, see ;)?
