Fancy Pants was beginning to get bored in his relationship with Fleur Dis Lee. They were nothing but each other’s trophy, and the spark was fading away. He remembered his time with Rarity and how down-to-earth she was compared to many other ponies he’d met in Canterlot. When he found out about her new boutique, he decided to visit her there.  
They had a good time catching up as friends and spending time together. That’s when Fancy Pants realized he found the spark he’d been missing. He broke up with Fleur, and asked Rarity out on a date. She, of course, could never turn down a gentlecolt like him. After a fine night out in Canterlot, Rarity began falling for Fancy Pants. She realized that he was all she had hoped for in a stallion-high class, yet a good-natured gentlecolt.  
The two went on even more dates as time went on. One day, Fancy Pants invited Rarity out on a date in Manehattan. It was the perfect date-a romantic swan boat ride surrounded by fireflies and city lights. It was then that Fancy proposed. Rarity said yes, and they had a magnificent wedding. Rarity moved to Canterlot with Fancy Pants, and they started their life together.  
After a few years, their daughter, Radiant Jewel, was born. Jewel’s parents loved and doted on her, as did everypony they knew. When Jewel was a toddler, Rarity became pregnant with their second child. Soon, Jewel’s baby brother, Royal Splendor was born. Rarity and Fancy Pants lived happily in Canterlot with their two children.  
However, as Jewel and Roy entered elementary school, they noticed that their children had a hard time making friends in a world of spoiled elites. It was then that Rarity and Fancy decided to move back to the friendly, down-to-earth town of Ponyville to give their children a better life. Ever since, they’ve been living a happy, small-town life.
