I don’t play Yugioh that much but these two cards seem to combo in a way that lets you play spell cards literally straight from your deck. Run them with something that continuously recycles spell cards from the graveyard back to your deck like this and you’re playing with a 40 hand deck.

You can have an entire deck of just spell cards and three copies each of these cards. You can keep on recycling Smashing Ground or Fissure and have it as a burn and stall deck.

I draw things.
Here are some editing suggestions.

Once Per Turn, During either player’s main phase 1, you may activate a Spell Card from your hand. (Treat the Spell Card as a Quick-Play)

If you control a “Starlight Glimmer”, you can Special Summon this card (From Your Hand) Once Per Turn, During either player’s Main Phase, you may add 1 Spell Card from your Deck to your Hand.

First, for Starlight to be able to activate spell cards at any point during the opponent’s turn, she would have to have a level increase. Most likely around 8 or 9. And I would also suggest, if she were to go up that high, she would be prevented from Special Summoning from the graveyard. But at level 4, she isn’t too overpowered if she is just limited to the Main Phase 1 of either player’s turn.

Second, instead of “Can” use “May” because can is a stipulation which can miss timing.

Example: “I can play this monster from my hand, opponent uses Ojama Trio in response, using my last three spaces, my card misses timing and is sent to the graveyard.”

“I may use this monster from my hand, opponent uses Ojama Trio, using my last three spaces, my monster can no longer has an open spot, so it returns to my hand.”

Third, look into chaning their atk/def. Say, Starlight would be 1500/1000 and Starburst would be the opposite. 1000/1500. This would make them work a lot better together because since Starburst can be special summoned, he can stay in defense mode, making your opponent have to choose which one they want to attack. Starburst would be a more likely target because he can search for any spell card you want, Starlight can only activate one spell card and depending on the conditions of the spell, it could fail in it’s own timing and there are plenty of way to negate the spell’s effect.

Those are just my suggestions, otherwise, interesting cards!

Not to mention you can activate them from your hand at any time. Its like all of your spells become quick play. Better than quick play because you don’t even need to set them so they can’t be destroyed.

The ability to play spells on your opponent’s turns is nice, but it’s the free tutoring for any spell card once per each player’s turn that makes this feel broken. Assuming you pulled this on turn 1. You get two free spell cards before you opponent can even react. I just don’t think this guy has a reasonable cost for his ability.
