The Hive Queen of the Changelings, Chrysalis, had been planning to take over Equestria for quite some time, and went through several iterations of her plan. Even though her lifelong dream was to subtly replace the soon-to-be-wed Princess Cadence, snatch her husband, and then unleash the Hive upon Equestria so it may become their new feeding ground, it became pretty clear that there were massive gaps in that particular plan. Having awoken one day with this sudden realization, Chrysalis begrudgingly set out to developing a new one - and, as evidenced by Rarity’s many days of most unwelcome torture, it seems to be working.
By far one of the more public personalities among the meddlesome six, Rarity presented many opportunities for her quirks and mannerisms to be learned. Having become complacent after the petrification of Discord, the frilly fashionista was not the hardest one to capture, either. A changeling now lives her life, while she is resigned to her own freshly reinforced cellar, driven to tears and dizziness on a daily basis. There is more to Rarity’s torment, however, than mere sadism on the part of her captor.
The ability to use the immense power of the Elements to essentially vaporize whichever enemy threatened Equestria is hardly something that Chrysalis could allow to remain available once she made her entrance. The Hive Queen had the foresight to have her subjects look into how the most powerful of pony magicks worked - and after having gone through about a dozen utterly broken specimens (now residing in the Queen’s chambers as toys and pets), the solution to this problem became clear. The Elements could be drained if their bearers were put under extreme strain, manipulated emotionally and kept in a state of blurry half-delirium, lead to believe they are acting upon their element.
Painful tortures had been proven to be highly inefficient due to proliferating naught but terror, solely sexual torments took an extremely long time because of the pony species’ overwhelmingly powerful climaxes inevitably throwing their minds off course… But, being experts in the field of ‘love’, as it were, the changelings hardly took long to realize that there was an extremely viable middle-ground. Ponies were ever so sensitive in almost all regards, so a good dose of less than playful tickling swiftly brought them onto the right track for draining. By when Rarity found herself imprisoned, Chrysalis’ agent was already an expert in the field, capable of handling the mare near effortlessly, making light of the important work in front of them, driving the pampered unicorn to screeches and gasps.
Her first few days were rather brutal, as the indignant mare was positively outraged at the turn of events that saw her tied up and stripped. After a good, long breaking, she became a lot more agreeable - and it was hard not to, for the unicorn’s flesh was ever so succulent, and even gentle pokes and strokes sent her into giggles; what she faced, of course, was far worse than that, including many hours of tines, bristles, claws, softening saliva, enchanted shock rings and much more. This was more to break her in, since Rarity would never believe that she was being ‘generous’ with her sweet squeals of torment in the nasty mood she was in. Steadily her demeanor was forced to turn more cooperative, which brought with it a relative extension of freedoms, allowing her to have her clothes back on, not keeping her in intense bondage for hours on end, giving her the merest chances to avoid making things worse. Granted, most such occasions were rather self-defeating for the hapless captive, forcing her to lend her own body to tortures, making her say nice things about her impostor, urging her to indulge in her gossip addiction and let them know what potential weaknesses her friends had.
And so, at this moment, Rarity is almost entirely placid, being reimbursed with good behavior by various quality of life improvements. She is made very well aware what a generous soul she is, letting slip her sounds of intense ticklish torment, or dropping a rumor or two about her friends’ exploitable spots, which turned out to be numerous and have a very convenient pedal theme. A month of such captivity in, she almost never needs to be punished by being coated entirely in sensitivity gel by means of her changeling captor’s coarse tongue, or by being denied her senses for an entire day. As a matter of fact, the draining of her Element is almost more fruitful than Chrysalis could have hoped. A most beneficial development had occurred after a particularly nasty punishment session, where her privates were vibrated, each of her hottest ticklish spots gently shocked, not to mention absolutely assaulted by an entire barrage of the meanest tools, all while her sight was blocked and her ears were muffed, leaving her no escape from teasing whispers within her mind… Rarity had begun to start giving out actual love energy!
She is more of an appreciated pet by now, though it’s unlikely she’ll be moving out of her basement any time soon, even if it has basically become a respectable apartment by now. While she still screams bloody defiant murder when combs swish across her feet, and still descends into hacking, guttural laughter when fuzzy floss is passed through her toes, and loudly whines when her soles are coated in softening solutions… she is no longer in distress, and feeds her torturer such generous laughter. She stays on the mattress like a good uni-girl and tries not to wriggle around too much in her comfy hog-tie. If the bearers really are as connected as they seem to be, then the changelings’ ability to reliably extract love by means of having absolute tons of fun tickling the living wits out of pretty, pampered ponies is probably going to make up for the fact that Chrysalis is going to miss Cadence’s wedding ceremony. Perhaps, the entire ongoing existence of her Hive is going to be perfect, not just a single day.
