Sooooooooo, I’ve been watching some of those Super Mario Cartoons from the 1980s/90s. Safe to say, I actually find them pretty good! But yeah, as crazy as it is, I for the most part love most of the characters in it! But yeah, I decided to draw Luigi as a poner becaaaaaause, why not! I was originally gonna draw him like he did in one of the IDW comics where he and Mario made cameos, just with the tall and lanky stallion build, a different mane and Tail. and his hat being a bit closer to the actual hat he wears- but I decided to change it up some more. The only little remaining things from the original concept there really is left are the Unshorn Fetlocks and cutie mark.
 
It was really fun doing this! While I’m not too invested into it, Luigi has to be one of my favorites from the series. And one last thing, for anyone curious, that thing he’s holding in his mouth is a vinyl record! It’s in reference to this little gem from The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 episode, Oh Brother! As innocent as this guy can be, he can be a freaking savage whenever he wants to.
