Description

“Pear Butter Test Pose” … Still can’t name my renders. May the Test Pose name last forever more for literally everything I do… I guess.

So the main thing I still want to try to improve on with this model is to try to better interpret how the neck mane and tale should look in 3-Dimensions. It looks a bit flat when viewing them from most angles. It’s tough for me when it comes to poofy, curly hair. I’m not a hair stylist. I practically know nothing about hair (probably why I opted to not even use hair particles in the first place for my models), so it’s hard for me to understand how it should look and flow in 3D. Not sure how I’m going to overcome that hurdle…

For the fans out there of my animations, don’t worry! I’ll get an animation done with Pear Butter soon. I’m still working on something at the time of writing this description, but even when I finish it I REALLY want to save it for the day (or maybe a day or two after) “The Perfect Pear” Episode airs nationally, which should hopefully allow more people to see the completed animation. I’ll make sure to have the completed animation published exclusively to my Patrons on Patreon first, before the episode airs nationally.

If I don’t get it done by then though, then I’m just bad. Whoops.

Aerius

Wow, I knew Blender was capable of some amazing stuff (though I only know 3DS Max), but at first glance I thought this was a photo of a figurine. On my darkened phone screen I didn’t even see the blender watermark.

Well done!
